I was able to get my badges for this year today (yay!), but I was trying to buy a Saturday pass for an international member who was ineligible for the drawing. Turns out we were not even allowed to buy tickets for them :(.

Last year, AppGear had a trailer in the Petco Park parking lot, giving away iOS games like Zombie Burbz and FoamFighters. It was enough off the beaten path to not be crowded.

I would be shocked if Injustice Gods Among US doesn't have a panel, announcement and playable tourney somewhere at SDCC.

Great advice! And when that map comes out for the Exhibit Hall, mark all the booths you want to hit and plan your best entrance (remember, there are a couple).

Nope - we're missing something, too. ;)

We've asked MattyCollector for comment on this but have not received a response. We did hear from a third-party vendor however who said they were receiving shipment of the Catwoman Barbie in June, meaning it would be made available to retailers and not an SDCC exclusive.

As soon as we hear definitively, we'll let you know.

Even thou last year was my first year attending I did a lot of ahead planning, I wrote down all the exclusives I wanted and in which booth I would have to go to get them, also which panels I wanted to attend and when and where they where going to be held, I'm plan on doing the same this year but Im fearing I still will have to do some though choice making

so you have the Catwoman Barbie listed as pre-sale and on-site, but it wasn't offered during the June pre-sale... I can't even find it on their site... am I missing something? Thanks!

Is the Hasbro line really long on Sunday? Is there a chance to actually get an exclusive on Sunday? I've never dealt with the Hasbro line before at SDCC.

I said this in the reply of the video, but last year, while I didn't make to the Hasbro booths, I managed to luck
out and score a Derpy Hooves toy at a 3rd party booth. It cost me more
than at the Hasbro booth, but it still was worth it.

I'm hoping to do a repeat with the Deadpool and Vinyl Scratch toy this year.

I think BBC would be the ones bringing Sherlock - they brought Merlin even though it aired on NBC here in the states, and they put out the DVDs. I think PBS just owns the air rights, not part of the show.

I swear I have a surprising memory from each day. Seeing people on the floor unexpectedly, seeing celebrities do crazy things in panels, getting to chat with celebrities, getting the freebie you wanted all weekend long. Really, you never know what's gonna happen. Just like Shawn said, you don't even have to be a fan of the celebrity, sometimes the cool part is just thinking how many people would kill to be in your spot.

The story I want to share happened before I even got out of the car to go into my first, not just SDCC, but con ever, last year, 2012. Pictre this: I'm sitting in my car at a red light, there's this asshole across the street, across from the convention center, preaching about how "you need Jesus" and "being gay is sinful," and the guy in the car in front of my is yelling f*** yous at the preacher. Light turns green, turn the corner, and the guy driving the car in front of me yelling obscenities turns out to be none other than actor Dax Shepard. Not even in the convention center yet and celebrity sighting?! Plus, how many times and where else do you get to see celebrities yelling obscenties live, right in front of your eyes? One of my favorite memories, and I think it's pretty funny.

Nope! And you don't have to sign up, you can just swing by that night. We just did that to get a gauge on reader interest and estimate headcount. It WILL be crowded, though!
